I had it done. It was the BEST thing I have ever done for myself. Totally life changing. My vision used to be so bad that I couldn't read the digital clock on the nightstand next to my bed. I now have 30/20 vision. It cost like $3k/eye because I had an award winning doctor at an actual hospital do it. DO NOT go to one of those cheap lasik labs. Get it done at your local hospital if you can because the doctors actually have to have credentials.

So do they out you to sleep or are you awake and just numb?You have to be wide awake during it. They give you some Vicodin pre-op to take the edge off but other than that the sergery is completely painless. No pain durring or after. After the surgery can you just walk out into the sun and see fine? This is kinda interesting, did it feel weird knowing that some man/woman is digging around in your eye?
