Arena takes place across the entire map.
Daggerfall has you go to High Rock and Hammerfell, though it's worth mentioning Daggerfall is the biggest map in the series. Though it wasn't handcrafted and I personally think the world is a bore to look at most of the time.
Morrowind is in Vvardenfall, the center island of Morrowind. In the expansion, Tribunal, you go to the capital city of Mournhold, but the rest of Morrowind's land mass hasn't been explored. In the other expansion, Bloodmoon, you got to the island above Morrowind.
Oblivion has you in Cyrodiil, and obviously you go to Oblivion (a demonic realm) many times throughout the main story. The expansion Shivering Isles brings you to the Sheogarath's realm of insanity.
Skyrim is just in Skyrim.
It's also worth mentioning that Tamriel isn't the only continent on Nirn (the planet you're on). The Nords, who live in Skyrim now, came from a different continent on the planet.

That's interesting. I'm in Markath right now getting details on the Stormcloak / Foresworn / Elves story and I always assumed the Nords were always in Tamriel. I haven't visitied Ulferic (hope I spelled it right) yet to hear his side of the story but I can understand the rebellion after being betrayed by the Imperials to save face with the Elves. Do previous TES games include Talos and other gods that were praised or is all this introduced in Skyrim?
