My very own 'Top 10 most anticipated games of 2009' list Par 2.

So gamespot just ate the remaining 4 of my top 10 list, so I decided to make this into a 2 part thing... makes it more epic that way XD.

4 - New Super Mario Bros. Wii:I have been craving a new 2D mario game for a very long time. I grew up with mario games, super mario world 2 being my personal favourite, and this one seems to be a worthy addition to the mario family. I can't say if everything will go perfectly, the story may seem a bit stale, the graphics might be a somewhat basic and the music might seem a bit overly familiar... but whatever.. Mario has never been about perfect graphics or exceptional story, it's been about gameplay and that's why I'm so excited for this.

3 - The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks:Knowing that a new zelda game is coming out is kind of a guaranteed buy, because you know that every zelda game before it was made with the highest of care. I don't know much about this zelda game, or where it sits in the zelda universe, all I know is that it looks rather similar - in looks and gameplay - to phantom hourglass, and if it's anything like phantom hourglass then I'm going to enjoy it immensely .... yes, immensely :D.

2 - Uncharted 2: Among thieves:It was hard to decide which of my top 2 games deserved my number 1 spot... then again it doesn't really matter XD. Anyway, Uncharted 2 sits behind very close behind Halo: ODST.. a hairline apart. This game looks just... wow. The graphical presentation looks impressive and the whole 'blockbuster' look it has going for it looks great. I loved the first game a lot, and I've been waiting for this for quite some time. So yeah, I'm excited.. like for realz XD.

1 - Halo: ODST:So basically, the reason I gave this game my number 1 spot is because I have high hopes for it. After being somewhat disappointed with Halo 3 campaign - not completely, just a tad underwhelmed - I've been craving a great halo campaign experience. Most people that I've talked to who own Halo 3 say that they own it primarily for the multiplayer, and that is rather a sad thing to hear. I'm just hoping that they recapture the pure excitement that the first halo game had.

So yeah, there is my top 10 most anticipated games of 2009. I hope you enjoyed reading this... probably just David. However, if there is anybody else out there who read this then I thank you... and I hope I didn't waste your time.

My very own 'Top 10 most anticipated games of 2009' list.

So yes, just like David I am also going to contribute my very own compilation of games that I think are worth looking out for this year. Also, I just got a new macbook pro and I really want to type things with it... it's so pretty ^_^.

(This list goes from 10 to 1, 1 being the most important.)

/>10 - Wii Sports Resort: Considering past experiments, such as Wii Music, Wii Fit and Wii Play, it's alway nice to know that nintendo is consistently being experimental with their games. Even though some of them don't succeed, better to try and fail then to not try at all. Wii Sports Resort seems more of a solid investment, considering the success of Wii Sport, and the use of the wii motion plus should make it more enjoyable. All-in-all I'll mostly buy this for motion-plus, and the game will come as a nice bonus.

9 - Splinter Cell: Conviction: Seeing as I'm playing the first few splinter cell games for the first time at the moment, I'm starting to become much more excited for this game. The graphics looks rather amazing, and the control scheme looks very intriguing. I'm looking forward to this game, though I should probably get back to the pervious games and finish them as soon as possible XD.

8 - Pokemon Soul Silver: Hopefully this game comes out this year, I know that it's coming out in Japan this year, however I have a bad feeling that we won't get this game till mid-2010. Anyway, if by some incredible luck we manage to get this game in 2009 I will buy it without a doubt. Pokemon games are just pure fun, and even though ever one in the series is practically the same, you just can't deny the amount of joy you receive from seeing new pokemon and wasting millions and millions of pokemon balls on rare pokemon.

7 - Modern Warfare 2: Gah, I should probably mention this, though primarily for multiplayer. Being in Australia it's very hard to find a match in halo without any lag, so it's nice to see that call of duty games are beginning to cater to us rather than leave us to suffer game after game with our character popping everywhere. Campaign wise, I've never really been captivated, then again I might be in for a shock - who knows?

6 - Mario and Luigi: Bowser's inside story: I've always been fond of the 'mario and luigi' games, they place a nice RPG spin on the mario universe. This game seems to be rather innovative, nintendo is finally giving us a story for Bowser; which I think is a nice take on the out dated 'save the princess' story format.

5 - Scribblenauts: Ever since the showing of this game at E3 I have been completely hooked. It has such an inventive and ingenious idea to it, and basically everything about it is just unique. The objective seems rather simple, though from what I've read, the gameplay seems to consist upon your own imagination to figure out multiple ways in order to reach your goal. So yes, I've already pre-ordered this and I can't wait till I can use my imagination in a game... for once >_

My first blog post ^_^

Speak what's on my mind, hmm. I'm thinking about.. what I'm going to type :D. Oh and I'm also thinking about the tim tams in the fridge, but that's getting a bit too personal XD. So I'm finally blogging it up, posting my opinion amongst the thousand upon thousand of other peoples opinions, and I ask myself, why does my opinion matter? I also ask myself.. where did I leave my salt and vinegar chips? Hmmmm intriguing.

I don't really believe in blogging, like some people don't believe in therapy. I believe blogging to be another word for 'diary' and people just express themselves hoping that somebody will read their inner secrets and give them comfort. I can't really take the whole thing seriously, that's why I make light of the situation and eat my tim tams.. Oh and if you were wondering, I found those salt and vinegar chips I was looking for... yeah they fell behind the desk ... don't ask me how.

Anyway, so basically you're either on the same wave-link as me and enjoyed this stimulating blog post, or you are thinking that you just wasted your time reading this pointless blog.

Yeah, who the hell is going to read this?

Doesn't matter, I blogged XD!

Alright, cya. :D
