Far Cry 2 producer Louis-Pierre Pharand has confirmed there will be four multiplayer modes Far Cry 2.

In a Eurogamer LiveText interview, he said the obligatory Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch modes will be present and correct along with Capture the Diamon(if you've ever played Capture the Flag, you can probably work it out).

Plus there's uprising, described by Pharand as "a modified version of VIP."

"We decided that all persistency will occur within a match or a define series of matches," Pharand added. "That way, gamers will have a taste of all our great guns quickly. You will get upgrades within ****s and it will allow you to be more tactical in your progression, depending of the type of maps you play."

Far Cry 2 is coming to PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on 24th october 2008.
