Ill go with recent games from this generation:

Mass Effect - Epic cinematic, emotional conclusion

Mass Effect 2 - same reasons as the original

Deus Ex HR - real world pictures, perfect piece of music& awesome narration from Adam Jenson

Bioshock 2 ( good ending ) - you have to see this one. Very powerfull moment after a long journey

Enslaved OTTW - a beautiful journey, seeing it through to the end & uncovering the conspiracy here was very fufilling

Mirrors Edge - Still alive music, late at night, overlooking a skyscraper after saving your sister. Awesome & unforgetable.

I also need to add the bad endings of Bioshock 2 were pretty sick also.

Ate YOMOMMA OUT I had that GT for a while until I was reported and MS made me change it, so of course I used Eat YOMOMMA OUT Lol.

If you want a basic understanding of the language then yes, after the first level it becomes very complicated at explaining things. You see, it is all based around pictures, that's how you learn everything, when you get to more complicated parts of speech and longer and more complex sentences you truly need to devote yourself to it. Honestly, after using it fairly extensively for 90 minutes every Monday-Friday I can safely say that it is much better as a companion to you if you were to take a language class rather than learning from it.

I personally found a AFFC to be rather dull, however, if you skip out on it you will miss a variety of details you probably wouldn't get if you read the summary. I recommend reading it because if your in a rush to get to ADWD, you will be disappointed for that is rather boring too.

I just finished "my perfect" playthrough of Mass Effect 1 today (I'm getting ready for ME3 so I am replaying 1 and then loading my save into 2 and getting that perfect), did everything I would do if I was Shepard, rather than simply choose it because it's Paragon or Renegade . Anyway, that's pretty old, I'm about to start ME2 and that's getting "old". I'm always playing Halo 3 MP and I'm picking up the FNV Ultimate Edition next month, really looking forward to that.

I'm actually really worried about my Xbox, I use it pretty offten (few hours a day at most though, I watch netflix a lot), it's a 60gb Pro Model I got back in Decemebr of 2008 and it still hasn't RROD'd, I am really worried it's going to red ring, it's out of warranty and ME3 comes out next month.
