Despite that, I have managed to have a very fun and fruitful Christmas week this week. For a couple of days I haven't really been able or willing to type up anything because of that. Of course as you might have guessed, this all happened after my birthday and since I got and gave more stuff than I can really remember, I'll just offer what I have obtained these past few weeks. For my birthday I got Kirby's Return to Dreamland and Professor Layton and the Last Specter. Over my visit to my grandparents I got Mario Kart 7, Saints Row the Third, Sonic Generations and Aliens Infestation. Then finally just yesterday where I got Super Mario 3D Land.

And finally just today I have obtained what will probably make several people happy, I have obtained a Playstation 3! Yes, after three years of beating around the bush and thinking about it, I have finally obtained a Playstation 3 along with my first two games, Bleach: Soul Resurreccion and Valkyria Chronicles. It also allows me to pick up Tales of Graces f and Dragon's Crown when they come out next year. I'm a little too lazy to bother with an unboxing video so that's why you probably won't see a viddler video of it.

Something to entertain everybody for those who are looking for a final day of 2011 and I hope you all enjoy the next year. And this year I actually have a resolution for once. As you might have heard from me before, I plan on doing a theme month for my First Viewing series in February where I see Studio Ghibli films for the first time. The only one I won't be adding is Nausicaa: Valley of the Wind because of two reasons. Technically it's not a Studio Ghibli film since it was made before the studio's formation, but the most real reason is because I have already seen it even though it was a few years since I've seen it. Do hope to enjoy them after hearing about their acclaim for the longest time. Until then? I have found one that I think looks pretty interesting but I'm not sure what else to do at this point.

I also made my pre-orders for Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Soulcalibur V at Bestbuy today. Even better there is a Collector's Edition of Final Fantasy this time, I was hoping for there to be one for the first XIII and I think there was in Europe but it wasn't released elsewhere for some reason. Still I finally get to pick up a Collector's Edition and get the soundtrack that comes with it along with the other stuff. I did want the Collector's Edition for Soulcalibur IV, but I didn't have a 360 or a PS3 at the time so here was my chance.

That's how it's been for me, hope everybody else has enjoyed the holiday season like I did and of course it's time for a new year. And of course comes December 21, 2012.:twisted: Yeah there's my message to you for this end of times.
