My first entry but my last as a "minor"..... 18 tomorrow :D

Well i downloaded A act of War and thought what a unoriginal plot......... WWIII: Black gold, has the same ish plot about Oil/petrol costing lots..... But A Act of war looks good so why the hell not play it.....?

News on the new Star Wars RTS has been read, and i loved the graphics.... (i need a better gfx card!!!).

The feature on the best games of 2004, stinks, having Marc laidlaw on it is the most stupidest thing ever, he's bound to say half-life 2 was one of the best, i mean he wrote the storyline!!!
I must still say Half life 2 was no where as good as the likes of Halo, Halo 2, Half life and many others in terms of storyline (no offence marc but the storyline was kinda lame!!!). I could dig holes out of Half-life 2, but i'll keep it short:
1. 2-4 hours of just driving really lost my interest in the game, several times while in the buggy, i was tempted to play any game that i knew off by heart and knew i was still gonna enjoy it more than driving that flippin' buggy.
2. I personally found that pre-black mesa east, was the most uninteresting and boring time of the game. Going to checkpoint to checkpoint just to get a few lines of dialog excused for a storyline, was rather stupid and pointless. Halo 2 (the rival to Half- life 2) did at least have a continuing storyline to keep a person attention focused.
3. (a bit off point but still relevant) Having to wait a grand total of 4 days to play half life 2 (from buying a copy at my local GAME) just to be able to get past train-station map 3, was rather annoying to say the least........

So 6 years of work on a game + 4-7 delays, valve release a game with bugs, which include stuttering on "powerful desktops", map loading errors, missing textures, extreme long loading times.
Also i could even go on about the steam busy, but i wont as i know there Half life 2 fan-boys about (you know, you lot who cant find a fault or think half life 2 is the best thing since slice bread.)
