gamefly just ship me god of war 3 this morning............but i cant wait two days for it to get here so im thinking about driving to fl and meeting them halfway.....and spending 1000 dollars to hook a ps3 up to my car.....and drive to the grand canyon and play it like it was ment to be played

Good luck with that stupid company. I prefere gamemine.com . Way better than gamefly. Gamefly would tell me they shipped games out and then I'd never recieve some of them.

It's horrible. The latency was even worse than Natal. I don't wany any motion sensing crap!

I bought a refurb 40 GIG from Gamestop about a month ago and am loving mine as well. No problems so far with it being a refurbished model. Honestly, when I took it out of the box, it looked flawless, so Im hoping it was simply a trade in for a 360 or something and not one that got YLoD or something. I may still trade it towards a Slim 250 gig once I get my tax return though! Superb technology, BluRay and better exclusives make the PS3 the better of the 3 consoles Imo!

I did the same. It was a 40 gig Sony refurb. Total came to $243 and some change. Mine died after 2 weeks. The Blu-ray stopped reading games. I took it back since it was under the 30 day warranty and exchanged it for a 120 Slim. If I were you I'd trade it before the Blu-Ray drive dies. Sony told me on the phone that they put the original parts in them and there NOT UPDATED!! This was a red flag to me. Those Blue-Ray drive's are defective in alot of the 40 gig's. I wouldn't risk that money man all you need is like 74 more dollars and use the warranty and trade it in for a defective Blu Ray lens.

New in-game Pictures from Eurogamer dont look that hot.

The only thing impressive to me is the lighting, bit over the top but still helps to the otherwise mediocre look.

Bad texture and low poly geometry. Characters look ok. Id say this is near MGS4 quality.

Mr lucky, Evidently you wasn't so lucky to be blessed with great vision. Those graphics are greatand and still images never look as good as live video anyway. Go back learn more about graphics and then create a thread. At this point your prove you know NOTHING about graphics!

I must say I'm really enjoying the PS3. It really has picked up some steam. With games like MGS4, Uncharted 1 and 2, Resistance 2 and many others coming like God of War 3 PS3 has a great library now!

It's all in the code. The code tells the system what to do. That's the understanding that I have. I may be wrong but an update can even update graphics if the code is updated. However, the code can only update to what that particular engine can do. They can't change the engine. Basically they can work on the code that's already there.

Why wouldn't you dish out a few more dollars and get a new PS3 with 3X the storage capacity? jakecufc8888
