Saw it opening night, and I thought it was pretty good, but it was really short. It was more of an hour-long episode, with no real character developments and the same slapstick and "political" humor.
What killed the humor:
Seeing Bart's dongle while he was skateboarding nude.
What redeemed it:
Ralph, watching Bart skate by: I like men now.

Call of Duty 2: Veteran Mode + Crappy Save System = Frustration
by NJFragger on Comments
So, here goes on my first blog post. Today, I got the 360 version of Call of Duty 2 to replace the one I got for PC. Currently, all my PCs are on the fritz and it doesn't look like they'll be capable of gaming for awhile. I got CoD2 cause it was the Platinum Hit version and it should be an easy 1000 Gamerpoints, right?
Wrong. Dead f*cking wrong.
Sure, like most launch titles, all of CoD2's Achievements are straightforward: Beat the game. Or in CoD2's case, beat it on the hardest difficulty. So I'm thinking, no biggy, right? I did it before on the PC, it was hard but I did it. If I can do it on the PC, I can sure as hell do it on the 360.
In CoD2, Veteran Mode is the game's hardest difficulty, and it's the level you need to beat in order to get the achievements. It takes only one shot to send the character's health into the "OH SH*T YOU'RE DYING GET TO COVER!" stage and you can only take one more shot after that, maybe two if you're lucky. That's a real b*tch considering how half of the Germans carry around automatics or semiautomatics. Turn a corner, dead. Jump over a fence, dead. Enter a room, but forget to check the closet, dead. Not only is that a real pain in the ass, the save system works like crap. Forget whatever the game devs said on the bonus DVD, about a "smart" save system. How the hell is it smart if it can't remember to save after a f*cking firefight or when there's a break in the action. Extraordinary checkpoint system my ass. I'm exaggerating a bit, cause the save system does save in some small breaks in the action, but very rarely. I think there's like a timer or something, like every 7-10 minutes, if the coast is clear, then the game saves. Or when you finish an objective. But even if it did only save at objectives, what's the point? Each one takes on average like 10-20 minutes to complete, on Veteran Mode of course. Let's say you get halfway to an objective, then die. Guess what? You have to start all over from the last objective you finished, and work your way back up to the objective, while trying not to die again. Why couldn't Infinity Ward keep the regular quicksave option? Maybe that wouldn't work on consoles, but it sure as hell should have been on the PC. Well, at least the multiplayer is a saving grace.
Seriously guys. Activision, even Call of Duty 3 had the same problems with the checkpoints. They're just too far in between each other. Sure, it's not an IW game, but still it's still a huge f*cking problem. At least fix this horrendous problem with Call of Duty 4, and I'll forget this whole atrocity ever happened.
