Really ? I think it's rather refreshing. We haven't had a female protagonist since FF6, and that was the only one until now.

Besides, it's not like you never control them. There are female characters in pretty much every FF.

Well, if it's directed by Tetsuya Nomura, then it might remain exclusive. The guy seems to be pro-PS3.
