Well, I guess Sony could have done better, but at least gamers now have a choice of two superpowerful consoles instead of one. I would rather have a PS3 to be honest.....I like the idea of replaceable hard drives.
Well, hopefully the PS3 will be able to recover from the initial losses. There is a chance of recovery since Warner Bros. is now backing exclusively Blu-Ray and the PS3 is a great Blu-Ray Player. At least now we know the PS3 won't die as quickly as everyone thought at launch.
You can just get a memory stick with the core pack seperately and for less money. Besides, the Value pack only comes with a 32MB stick, and you can't do much with that.
Here are 3 unbiased reasons why the PS3 will become a failure
#1: There is a lot of negative opinion about the PS3 and Sony. At this point, the quality of the PS3 and it's games don't matter as much at the damage has already been done.

#3: Due to the limited launch supply, potential PS3 buyers will chose to get something else instead of waiting or not buy anything at all.
Enough with all of the PS3 bashing. Like many others have said, wait a year before assuming it to be a total failure. Loyal fans will stick with Sony. Since it's backwards compatible, the PS3 can already play a huge library of great games. I am getting one this summer since some promising games are to be released by then.
