[QUOTE="Fightingfan"][QUOTE="NYSkate"][QUOTE="Fightingfan"] Then, I recommend a charge character they typically have good anti-airs and charging will help you become more responsive VS quick shoto/motion movements.

oh ok i guess ill try some but do and have mor than just charge moves ??? or do they all just use charge moves?

most characters that are charge characters typically only have charge inputs. It's easy it's like changing gears in a car.

ok i get it ill see if i can play ass a charge character

[QUOTE="Fightingfan"][QUOTE="NYSkate"][QUOTE="Fightingfan"]If you want to be "prefix for same" using fei long and learn how to cancel and one frame link. Fei long can combo a light punch into a heavy punch and anything can be combo'd from his fierce punch.

sounds complicated i watched a couple of fei players and they were peaty good but i thought that one slip up could really hurt him

[QUOTE="NYSkate"][QUOTE="Capitan_Kid"]Try Guy or Juri. They might be more to your liking.OneSanitarium

i might use guy but i think its hard to combo with him

Don't worry about how hard it may be to combo with a character. SF4 isn't THAT hard of a game to play. It gives beginner player a far amount of short cuts when playing.

And if you learn a hard to play character, you'll have a much easier time learning other characters, either in this game or if you play others.

Just pick a character you like. Don't worry if they are too bad or too good tier wise. Tiers only really take place in high level play, and even then they can be over come by the skill of the player.

SRK has a LOT of good information for EVERYTHING Street Fighter.

Just go to forums and Street Fighter IV series.

yeah thats true i just want someone unique

Maybe you can go through the Trials/challenges. That's what I did. I tend to go with the character whose moves and combos are easier for me to pull off.

For example, I've (re)discovered that I'm no good with characters with charge moves, so no Guile, Chun-Li,Blanka,Honda,etc. for me until I want to really buckle down and want to master them.

Basically, I think that's a good way to see what character's moves feel more natural to you.

[QUOTE="NYSkate"][QUOTE="KnightSkull"]

You should try Chun Li, Honda, Sagat or Bison then. All are quite easy to get used to (I think so anyway).

KnightSkull

I tired bison but charge characters are really difficult for me ill try sagat i never really tried him because he topples everyone but hes fast too witch cancels out any speed issues .. thanks

No prob :) He maybe topples but he has great reach, being so tall and all.

Also if you do use Sagat I find it better to fight a bit more defensively with him and once you get your opponent in a tight spot... destroy them

oh ok ill see late today cus i think my arcade stick will be here soon so maybe ill start to use it with him
