Trip to Florida.

Ya, nothing really big is happening this week and I haven't written a blog in a while, so i'll tell you guys about my family trip to Florida ( DisneyWorld to be specific) that I went on for bout a week at the end of July. So this will be like my journal.

Day 1:  First of all, the plane flight was good, only took 2 and a half hours to get to Orlando ( on the plane, the inflight movie was Ice Age 2 ), but the bummer was that we had to get up at 2:00 in the morning to drive to Toronto (which took an hour), and then wait another 3 hours before we could board the plane. The plane was pretty cramped, but I got to sit next to a cute girl, so that was okay. Anyway, after we got off the plane, we picked up our luggage and went through security. Since my family got a package deal from Disneyworld, we didn't have to rent a car, as there was a bus ready to pick us up. It took about 25 minutes to drive to the hotel that we were staying at, which was the pop century hotel. After signing into the hotel, we went to go check out our room. It was air conditioned, had cable t.v., a safe, bathroom and two beds. We dicided we would go to Magic kingdom first, so my family and I quickly unpacked and went to the bus stop and waited for the bus to pick us up. After a 5 minute wait, the bus arrived and we got to Magic kingdom in 20 minutes. The buildings there were very detailed, but the most stunning moment was when I turned the corner and saw the famous castle with my own eyes. It was marvolous. It was so cool that I was actually in front of the castle, I thought I was in a dream. For those of you who really like rides, I made a list of ones I went on and which ones were best.

Space Mountain ( definately a good ride, very fun).

Splash Mountain ( long and fun ride, you will get wet)

Thunder Mountain ( average coaster, nothing special)

Small World ride ( surprisingly good, fairly long)

Pirates of Caribbean ride ( it was okay, could be better)

Haunted Mansion ( very cool, neat special effects)

Got to meet Mickey Mouse, which was pretty cool, and the 3-D theatre ( called "Mickey's Phillar Magic") shouldn't be missed. The best thing of the day was the fireworks, which started at 10:00 PM. They were fantastic! Seriously, it's worth it to go there just to see them. It's amazing how many fireworks they had as it was a 20 minute show with non-stop fireworks, with music going with it. After the fireworks, we got back to the hotel, ate some pizza, and bought a mug ( refillable for the whole week! non-stop free coca cola!). Then, went to the hotel swimming pool for a few minutes before heading to bed and going to sleep.

This is Part 1 to my trip. Stay  tuned for the rest of my trip.
