James Kim's tracks have been found and the searchers are still trailing him. As of an earlier report, his family is going to be ok other than that Kati Kim, James' wife, may have to have an amputation of a toe due to frostbite. The tracks were about 5 miles long from the family car and lead down into a canyon where searchers are focusing their efforts at the moment. At least some good has come from these events in that it appears the family will be fine. I hope that my next blog post about this subject will involve the words "James Kim is found alive!"

UPDATE: Current reports suggest that in fact Kati is completely fine along with the children. Perhaps the earlier report of Kati's toe amputation was inaccurate.

UPDATE: Another report just came out on FoxNews: The searchers have found James Kim's pants. The question at this moment is "Why did he shed his pants?".

UPDATE: Authorities now are reporting that James Kim may be leaving clues for his searchers: pieces of a map, pieces of clothing. The other posibility is that James is shedding his clothes because he may be suffering symptoms of hypothermia which confuse the mind into believing the body is actually hot.
