For sure! The gameplay trailers I watched a few months ago look pretty good :) I also have my eye on The Old Republic.

Hmmmm good question. Sorry to say it, all Guild Wars soundtracks have me pretty chilled quite quickly :P. Mainly prophecies.

Personally I dont really know. What I do know, however, is that theres a small bandwagon forming of casual guitar-hero-like games that revolve around "family fun". I mean youve got band hero, Lego rockband and Im pretty sure there are others.

Now im no big city lawyer...

But it seeeeems to me that maybe instead of going back and down scaling gameplay maybe they should try and advance the genre... saying that though...

Slam City was pretty awful, but then again nearly were all the FMV games for the Sega CD and 32X CD.

However I think that title goes to Plumbers Don't Wear Ties. Yep, I got this from the Angry Video Game Nerd, but its worth a look.

oh man I saw this thread and had to post something lol. Id say Shenmue (the first one), although it probally didnt contribute much to the industry apart from show what the dreamcast was capable of, it did however have a charm many other games were lacking at that point.

And talk about content!

So id say it was one of the best games on the format, but didnt do anything radical on the to shape the industry... saying that though, I dont think anything on the dreamcast did anything of the sort to be honest.
