i posted this in the forums and what do u guys think, so i DEMAND U TO LOOK!!!!
ok to cut a long story short I am planning to upgrade my 4 year old gaming pc. so i have a list of components that i have chosen and would like to know if u think they will be a good match, my max price would be around £1000-£1200!
Cpu - Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 "third one down" after seeing that this baby can hit over 4ghz i would like to give it a try. = £253
Cpu Cooler - Zalman Areo Flower "Second one down" = £34
Mobo - Asus P5W DH Deluxe "First mobo there" = £176
Ram - 2Gb G-Skill DDR2 Pc2-6400 "Is this a good choice for Overclocking?" = £176
Hard Drive - Seagate barracuda 250Gb SATA2 "5th one down, I trust Seagate and like there 5year warranty" = £61
Gfx Card - Seeing as i will be upgrading around xmas or early 2007 i would get a Dx10 card around £200-£300 nVidia or Ati dont bother me, and i dont think i should bother with SLI or crossfire as my monitor's max rez is 1280x720.
Os - most probably Windows Vista if it is out, if not Xp pro. = £100?
Everything comes to a total of £1050, Would you say this is a good price? im also hoping that some things Should come down in price.
i would most likely be overclocking so would i need water-cooling on top of this?
Any help will be much Appreciated. Thx all
EDIT - i forgot the PSU would
This one do for all my needs?
