Is there a way to get all my data back or do I have to start from scratch as in Trophies and completing painful task like God of War 3 on chaos mode? Please help if you know anything about restoring data.

I recently brought a ps3 slim with a 32in Vizio LCD hdmi ready!

But it seems that the quality has downgraded..I noticed today after I finished playing BORDERLANDS on my 360,my tv say's that it is in 1080p but when I change the channel to my HDMI output for my PS3 it brings it down to 480p :( now my question is...Dose this happen because of the hdmi plug i have (i brought it cheap) or something else? By the way I have the original xbox 360 that comes with the hd plugs (no HDMI). Please Help I want my 1080p :D
