Xbox One Scorpio and the PS4 Pro = what you really wanted to give to your fan base in the first place instead of hardware you knew was outdated from the start. While the buzz words are "4K" and "VR"; we all know these are consoles that will probably output games, if supported(?), in 1080p without thinking twice.

Seriously, are we still talking about console gaming struggling to reach or hold a constant resolution at 1080p in 2016? I hope there are some developers who make games exclusively for the new iteration of the PS4 and Xbox One. If Nvidia is promising an "entry level" video card between $100-$160 that plays games at full 1080p almost flawlessly I feel like we're at a new low-end benchmark.

Everytime I see AMD or Nvidia release benchmarks(or any gaming news outlet) the data is as follows. You have your 4K gaming at the highest, then 1440p, the multi-monitor 1080p configurations, and your low-end benchmark is set to 1080p for a single GPU/monitor. Usually resolutions under that tend to be benchmark data on gaming laptops.

But when you're struggling to even output 1080p and your games are still down scaling to 720p in 2016...like WTF is going on? Don't worry about framerate if you can't even maintain full HD. ::face palm::

@Celtic_34: If you're trying to say that Overwatch doesn't take a revolutionary step or add anything deep to grow the FPS genre, that's all you had to say.

Regardless of genre or game; one thing that Overwatch does very well is having diversity that actually works. You literally have a set of characters with their own unique abilities and characteristics AND THEY'RE ALL VIABLE OPTIONS! Again, ALL VIABLE OPTIONS! Note, I absolutely love playing May!

There are things I dislike about the game, but it is definitely going to be a memorable FPS for me.

The reason why many people fine Black Desert Online appealing is because the world itself is the main character of the game. It's such of departure from what is familiar that it actually feels refreshing. You don't simply play it, you live it(if you have the time that is). This isn't simply a game where you level up, get your gear, and move on to the next game. Everything is relevant. What you did at level 1 still has value at level 50.

If you are a fan of MMORPGs but find yourself avoiding Black Desert Online because there isn't raiding/gear treadmill, I highly recommend you give it a try.

@mtf19m: I played the Elder Scrolls Online with 21 day trait research for the 8th trait learned on my one-handed mace crafting. So. . .

Time is definitely Blade and Soul's biggest enemy. I think the combat is great and the 1-on-1 PvP is so entertaining! But it does little to convince me that I am suppose to be playing a MMORPG. It so linear in its design with its vertical progression; that any argument about BnS existing in a online persistent world feels mute.

Software is the only thing that can keep VR alive. But I'm not entirely sure if people are going to build computers centered around a VR experience if the games do not utilize the feature. And if the utilization of VR is horrible, why even bother.

I do see the "existing" PC gaming community investing in VR hardware. It is something to experience. In fact, I was able to try Samsung's new "VR headset" for their mobile phones. The whole VR-thing works for watching movies; and TV.

@dariomeznari: Agreed. I think for people who have been playing this game for so long, the veterans will still enjoy Knights of the Fallen Empire because of the story. But most of them were looking for new raids or warzones for PvP.

But then there's people like me who returned to the game years later and there's tons to do. I still think this game is best played with a subscription. The free-to-play model is so restricting. But Knights of the Fallen Empire is definitely worth your time if you like Star Wars and Bioware storytelling.
