Hardware like this makes me really miss the fun of PC gaming. But on the other side hardware like this is the reason why I got out of PC gaming it's too damn expensive!

I love Metal Gear! I'm getting goose bumps just thinking about the fourth episode thats coming in our hands in a matter of months. Metal Gear is enough reason to fork over $600.00+ and get a Playstation 3... well at least one can hope. I have to say my favorite boss was Sniper Wolf because that battle kept you on edge. If you take your eye's off your target for just a second she'll hit you and wouldn't know from where.

The Prices on the 8600's are a little high for my tastes. Looks like I'm going to have to wait till winter and see if the prices drop a bit; then I'll choose.

I never really cared for ATI, granted I own 2...sad to say they are locked in a deep dark closet. It's just that ATI never really put out anything that beats Nvidia. Nvidia always has been the better GPU.

LOL I have had the playstation 3 since January and to this day I have not used it's Blu-Ray feature. I really think they should have sold a seperate Blu-Ray player like Microsofts HD-DVD player. To be honest I have no intentions of using either I'm more than happy with my DVD's! I didn't buy a Playstation 3 because of it's Blu-Ray playback abilites I bought it for the games and I'm not too impressed. Four months of owning a 360 and I have already had 10 great games and only one game and that's Resistance: Fall of Man. To be honest RFoM is really no big deal. But, I don't want to judge too quickley now so I'll sit and wait. At least I have my 360 to keep me occupied while my PS3 keeps my papers from blowing off the desk...

I know that I really haven't said too many nice things about the Playstation 3 but, after reading Darkseid's comment I can't help but to agree with him. It's just de JaVu' of PS2.

I think the entire Playstation 3 development team at Sony Japan and America all need to all get togeather in a world wide Live press confrences and apologize to everyone for bastardizing the PS3. It should sound something like this, " Sorry everyone we F^#$ed up". They need to "start over" from scratch in my opinion. It's going to be very challenging to pick up the PS3 off it's a$$.
