I have played on both the PS2(fat) and the Pstwo(slimline). So i know what im talking about. The heating prob is very true. Every time i play it overheats. And the there is small chip fans inside. But they only trun on when you play games with the black bottom. You know when you look at the bottom of the disk you see a clear white color. If you have that then the fan on the slimline wont turn on. But you play a game that has the black dick bottom then you here that loud fans noise.

The only other way that the myth of the over heating can be proved is when you buy the slimline. I bought mine few days after the release of it. I guess that Sony fixed that problem after november. maybe?????? The grahics are the same if you play on a regular tv. But if you play on a Hd or Plasma then the difference is clear as day.

So stop fussing over which one to get. It all depends on personallity. Of you are a fata$$ then get the FF XI for the PS2. But if you are a slim good looking guy that has many good aspects then get the slimline.
