Those who just can't get enough of the Zone should forget about Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat altogether, and try a new mod for Shadow of Chernobyl developed by the modders who created AMK (and made Oblivion Lost possible): Narodnaya Soljanka.

- Narodnaya Soljanka requires patch 1.0004 (NOT 1.0005) installed.

- A new game is required.

- And a medium-to-high-powered deck (Core 2 duo or better, 4+ GB RAM, nVIDIA 8600+). Really. I'm running it with some settings toned down on an Inspiron 1520 with these specs, and it runs fairly solidly with few CTDs.

Narodnaya Soljanka adds a lot of functional areas from Clear Sky (YAY!), completely reworks equipment and artifacts, and adds tons of new items. Be warned: the original mod is entirely written in Russian. A -partial- translation is available, but it doesn't help much.

Hardcore fans, rejoice: the game is insanely hard on master difficulty.
