Maybe a more dark and suspending game would fit my needs better.

Hey! I'm looking for some kind of an adventure game with lots of puzzle solving and mysteries. Right now I'm looking into the game, Dear Esther, but hoping to find some more great games. Any recommendations?

In my youth I used to play this game that I don't remember by name, I can just remember things about it. You chose 3 characters from hunters, hippies of somekind, and priests. The gameplay was 2D. I think the battle system was turn based. That's a little information, but if someone could name the game I'd be very happy!

I'm not easily amused by games and it takes a lot of time for me to find that one game that I can play through. I'm looking for some FPS Horror/Sci-Fi games with an actual story. Games that I have played AND liked: Doom 3, Prey, Clive Barkers: Jericho and Undying, Call of Cthulhu, Cryostasis, Fear and stuff like that. I'd rather play games that have been published like after 2005 or so (not necessarily), because of the graphics and versatility. Suggestions, please?
