Yes finally, all assessments assessed, all performances performed....still a crap load of written work to be handed in :?....ah well i've got 2 weeks to worry aboot that 8) lol (though i'll still be usin that excuse on the day b4 goin back to college i bet :P) and with so many new gamezzz to be playin, its now time i re-arrange my prioritys
Sooo with most...actually all :P i'm a lil late to the table, but that was mainly over my own parania of thinkin if they were truelly worth full price, well each game now I've managed to purchase for less than full price, some much less than others but still, each one I've managed to avoid payin those scum-buckets their undeserved full price of 40+ quid 8).
First on me list was actually payed for in full of 45 quid ...though it was a B-day gift of me mum so its totally free far as i'm concerned :D lol
Bioshock
---Please can't we just talk this over?!? I'm sorry for buying the last vampire halloween costume leaving you with that filthy pedophilic underwater diver costume ok?!?
I haven't put much into it, much like most of my purchases mind you thanks to college, but from what i've played and seen its definatly worthy of its almos unanimous praise it garned from like every side. Its amazing atmosphere and creepy 50s soundtrack combined definatly equal to a joyful stay admist Rapture. Those splicers talking to themselves really can give you an uneasy feeling and even possibly pity. Seeing a female splicer crying over her lost baby really had me pause before smacking her head in with my wrench. Its gameplay too is enjoyable with the ability to search practically everything for items and buy new upgrades n hack robot's n the like, a noice touch of RPGness which mixes well with its unorthodox fps combat. You may run out of ammo for yah firearms like as soon as you pick it up, but it definatly adds some fear and strategy in making your bullets count.
The Force Unleashed
---Could you tie my shoelaces for me my young apprentice? Just its gotten so awrkward to do it myself with my robotic joints you see...Also while your down there....my....handsome apprentice...lol
Anywhoo I initially gave FU a fair rating of 8/10 after trying out the demo, of course thats what demo's are all for though To give you a real taste of a games best bits to assure a purchase. Well anywhoo, after searching through PLAY.com I found me a very sexah offer of FU...brand new....for 18 quid??? A real steal ofa deal IMO  soo yeah obviously ordered it, had to wait like 6 days for it to get here, but with that price...and no delivery costs 8) it was worth it.
So once it arrived I was still expecting I'de lower my score down some with me seething at the mouth and bleeding at the eyes with frustration ''DAMN TARGETING SYSTEM?!? FORCE GRIP THE BLEEDING DUAL LIGHTSABERED JEDI NOT THAT HARMLESS LIL TRASH CAN'' :P Fortunatly though I haven't had 'that' much trouble with its targeting system really, I still have an urge to lower my rating down to a 7.5, just over its overall combat. It feels sort of stiff and even slow paced at times. When your striking an enemy with a lightsaber...well you'de expect the lightsaber to simply carve through whatever like steamed butter, not sort get stuck for a milisecond before slicing through :?. The level design too can get pretty cumbersome with me accidently double jumping right off into the unknown below, then sitting through the FU's very own neighbourly load screen :? lol seriusly that ting won't go away....check force upgrades....load screen.....save game...load screen.....die...load screen....reach checkpoint (occasionaly)...load screen :?.
The fact that you can be totally dragged across the whole level by an enemy once u get knocked down is also another nuisance. But still, overall its got some fun hack n slash gameplay and a surprisingly likable protagonist. The story seems intrigueing and its upgrade options are plentyful enough for me to carry it on to the end. Wether or not i'll actually return to force pushing everything in my path though is hard to say.
Lego Batman
---Owww my left blockickle
Now lego batman is the one that i had to pay a rather substanial amount of moolah for, least comparin to the other two :P. 30 quid it cost me, which is still 10 down from its original pricing mind u. I too played the demo of this aswell and while thought it really was alot i've already played before through the lego star wars games, i still believed it had enough of what made it fun to be worthy a purchase. Plus it agreed well with me n me lil brother playin co-op 8).
Sooo lego batman, well first i have to say it does have some surprisingly great visuals with everything lego you'll come across being full of life and bright colours. Its 'story' too this time around is completly original...well as in not based on the movies, I doubt a story were.....act 1 bad guys escape from Aslyum....act 2 batman stops badguys....doesn't deserve an award for originality :P. But even still it contains the lego games usual brand of humor, most of which actually made me laugh at times :P
Overall lego batman is a game for, like you'de expect, fans of the past lego games since it doesn't really bring much for anyone else who didn't fair well with them to have their opinion switched with lego batman. One thing i must say though is lego batman, while still of course totally family friendly easy, could be one of the hardest lego games out. Well I haven't played indiano jones lego game, but comparin to lego star wars it definatly seems to have had a few of its nuts tightened up abit with it giving you some rather hard to figure out puzzles and a large amount of enemies to survive against. This time around trying to complete a level without dieing is certaintly no feat for the 7 yr olds the game is played by.
Sooo yupp, there all probably long forgotten by now by most of the gamin community :P but even still i thought i'de post a few impressions on some equally loved n loathed games just to add my own to the rising tip 8).
Reviews will follow soon enough...actually i've got quite alot on my list atm :? college though as you'de expect sort of put my never ending reviews to a halt though.
