whats the point of answering your own question ,,

why even post you answered your own question ,,,

no offense though, bluray was developed by sony how would ms or nintendo even use it period,

the money made off of it goes strieght to sony, i dont think ms and nintendo have high hopes for so n y seeing as a ninten/sony deal already fell apart once and ms is the main competitor in that particular market, nintendo has never been , sales wise yes but technically wii is aimed at every one

mariokart64fan

When Sony first announced that they would be using the new Blu-Ray format for the PlayStation 3 Microsoft stated that Blu-Ray is a format that is not needed for gaming. This has obviously been proven wrong over the past years with the recent success of the Blu-Ray format.

"There is no denying the fact that Microsoft is doing a good job with the Xbox360 on the console market and its sales have been increasing dramatically after its recent price cut. The Xbox 360 has amazing titles out there like Gears of War 2 and Fable 2 and Microsoft still continues to add more great titles to the console's library. What you have now is a gaming system with a lot of games at an affordable price that appeals to almost everyone."

Home has been a highly anticipated service for the PlayStation 3 ever since it was announced about two years ago. The open beta is now out there and everyone is able to go check it out but does it live up to the hype?
