This is the game that will make me buy a PS3, this is the game that will have lems and sheep converting or gnashing their teeth in jealousy.

As part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis project, Final Fantasy XIII embarks on an adventure full of mysticism, friendship, and strife in the name of destiny. The world calls for change. Chosen by the crystal to guide the world into this new era of change, Lightning attempts to overthrow the government from which she was cast. Cocoon, for many, is the ideal state of life. Or at least it was. Prosperity reigned upon its inhabitants. Powered by the crystal, they were given everything they would ever need: machines, magic, and other living beings. The citizens of Cocoon were thankful, but soon became scared of the threat posed from without. The people of cocoon grew scronful, outlawing any suspicious personae to the world below: Pulse. Lighning is one such person, and has witnessed the resulting injustice first-hand that has begun to overtake the world of Cocoon. After becoming friends with many of Pulse's inhabitants, she has begun to realize her true destiny.

Worlds

Cocoon

The world above, as the people of Pulse know it, was enchanted by a magical crystal that established everything that the world has now become. Monorails and hover lanes divide the living sections of the inhabitants. This is a global utopia for all kinds of modern technology. Better yet, it is a place that is constantly evolving. The technology has become so advanced that the place has now decorated itself into a formidable fortress. The defenses accrued have made Cocoon a safe haven from the denizens below, but the people of Pulse do not see it that way. They see it as if the citizens of Cocoon have stranded themselves.

Pulse

Like Cocoon, the world of Pulse was created by a crystal. 'Awakened,' as the people would state. Due to the harsh rules Cocoon has led, many believe Pulse to be a breeding ground for everything that has gone wrong with the world. It is a place filled with malcontent. They believe this is the source of all the violence and misery that occurs. As a result, the government outcasts "conspirators" to this underbelly. Since then, the exiled Cocoon citizens have discovered the truth. That Pulse is actually full of life, beauty, and majesty. Even encountering a new species: the Rushi. The Rushi are believed to have been granted the power of magic in the form of summons. It is also believed that they hold the task to restoring the world.

Characters

Lightning

Mr. 33cm

Nomchan

Summons

Shiva

Ifrit

Siren

Carbuncle

- We're aiming for a demo to give players a hands on on the battle system.
- FF13's theme: determination.
- Farushi: Their existence surpasses humans.
- Rushi: Those chosen by Farushi to carry out a mission. The pigtail girl is a Rushi. Farushi is not the Crystal.

17.7 million sold would be shipped not sold as well they have been caught out before and now there at it again.bigLLL

They all manipulate figures and try to put a positive spin on everything. People need to stop caring about such trivial matters. Let them worry about sales. All you have to do is play the games.

None of them will leave the console making business. They all have more money than Sega ever had. And there is room for all three. MS have a bottomless money pitt and 360 games sell extremely well. Nintendo may have finished last with N64 and Gamecube but it still made a profit for them. And Playstation will not die, it would be dead already after all the bad press and teething problems with PS3. But it's still here.

You sound pretty bitter about the 360 selling well. Question is...why?.

Are consoles about to get not one, but two of the PC's biggest titles?

Where were you people when Iraqi's were starving to death on the streets because of US and UN sanctions put in place on their country?. That's right you didn't care. You let Saddam buy food for oil but you knew damn well he was pocketing the money and the people got nothing. Doctors had no medicine to treat people because of your god damn sanctions. Your sanctions killed up to a million Iraqi's and done nothing to harm Saddam, your old best friend who used to shake hands with Dick Cheney not that long ago.

Americans are hypocrytes and will deal with terrorists like Bin Laden when it suits them like in the Afghan war against theRussians.Or they will hand over people who tried to kill Saddam to Saddam's forces to be killed when Saddam was their best friend before the first American invasion of Iraq. You people need to realise your government stinks and is corrupt, maybe if you didn't spend all your time playing games, and instead read somebooks you would realise this.

You may as well be standing up for gangsters when you talk about about how great your president is.

I don't know why you get all defensive when anyone mentions Iraqi oil. It's a fact that many Americans got stinking rich from the war in Iraq, who do you think got all the contracts to rebuild the country. If you think America went in there to save Iraqi people from Saddam then you're in serious denial. There are many countries under horrible dictatorship that America couldn't give a rats ass about.

Keep telling people that America are fighting for freedom or whatever, it's all BS at the end of the day. People like Bush are war mongers, and should be thrown in jail for war crimes like his father and many other western leaders of the last century.

Why would lemmings want Crysis when they already have better games?. COD4, Orange box, Bioshockand Halo 3 have been placed higher in all GOTY lists so far.

Crysis is not worthy of the attention it gets.

I'll start of by saying this is a rumour, but it's probably true. MS are in the process of creating a new Wiimote for the Xbox 360 to be released the end of 2008. They are copying Nintendo and have got the same people responsible for the Wiimote technology working on the 360 version. Basically your 360 is going to be a high definition Wii by the end of next year and all games will have crappy Wii style controls. MS have commited a heinous crime against 360 owners imo, if we wanted Wii style controls WE WOULD BUY A WII.

http://xboxfamily.com/xf/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1107&Itemid=2

If what we're hearing out of Saratoga, California is true, Xbox 360 owners can expect to be playing motion sensing games, much like that of the Wii or PS3, by the end of next year. The details are still sketchy, but it appears a first-party add-on to existing controllers may be the delivery method of the technology.

Hardcore gamers have known for sometime that it's not too difficult to add motion-sensing functionality to the 360. With homebrew add-ons being worked on for the last year or so like the Xilt mod , it seemed only a matter of time before MS decided to release their own peripheral.

It appears Microsoft has contracted the Saratoga, California firm, Gyration to handle the peripheral. If that name sounds familiar, it's for good reason. Gyration is the company responsible for the prototype designs of the Nintendo Wii-mote, which we all know has become a huge success. Most recently, the company was in the spotlight for creating a motion-sensing remote for Microsoft's Media Center.

While details are still a bit thin on when "exactly" we'll see this technology, we're still excited at the prospect of new interactivity with our Xbox 360 games. There's also no word on whether or not the new add-on will incorporate the motion-sensing technology that MS successfully patented last year.
