I've never seen Xbox Live like this before. All the games I try and play online besides the Halo 3 beta take forever for people to join my game or for me to join them. Is everyone really all playing the Halo 3 beta? Even popular XBLA ggames like Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 has no one playing it. This is surreal. I played the Halo 3 Beta and it is all right at best, but not earthshattering. I am actually looking forward to when Xbox Live will get back to normal.
I'm not disappointed with XBox Live. It to me is the best console online service out there. Wii doesn't even seem to have any serious plans for online (except for Pokemon) as of now. And PS3 is just like PS2 online.
Yeah the only thing I don't like are some of the punks. But face it the majority of the game players are teenagers who talk all big with a microphone. The best thing to do is just leave the room they are in and/or give them bad feedback when the game is over. I swear it is about 1 in 4 players that I encounter I give negative feedback to. But the remaining 3 players are decent. I've met some cool people on XBox Live and it seems since that I keep giving feedback on who to avoid, things have improved quite a bit. I am eliminating having to deal with the morons.
It seems like everyone is so distracted by the dashboard update that there has been yet to be an announcement, on what new game will come out on Xbox Live Arcade tomorrow. I hope they didn't forget. and I hope if they do release something tomorrow it will be the long overdue Double Dragon. Anyone heard anything?
