Well what can i say....on a post (forums) yesterday i said that there was nothing that Sony can do to make me feel the way i would if i was an Xbox owner and FF13 being announced.

But i was wrong!

I think Sony's conference was better than its competitors. Reasons (no particular order):

1*. Resistance: Retribution - this looks awesome if you own a psp

2. PS Video Store - Very good edition to psn and its available NOW!!! - I wont use it much but its good to know i have the option-

3*.GT-TV - OMG now i can watch top gear on my ps3 on HD, how cool is that...i love that show!!!!

4*.PSN- R&CF: Quest for Booty - a R&C game always fun! Yeah it'll be shorter but only for $14.99!!!!

5. Greatest Hits games - i was waiting for this to get some of the older games I haven't played for a cheaper price....

6. LBP - I was never interested in this title before....but after watching that demo they did, I'm intrigued

7. Resistance 2 - We knew this was coming but its great to see new footage and it looks amazing!

8. God of War III - Knew it was in the works, the trailer was short but its good news that they officially announced it.

9. Infamous - Seriously i was amazed at what I saw....the game looks like its shaping up to be something special!

10*. MAG - OMFG seriously 256 players???? Wicked idea!!!! (Is this secret game? I thought that was being developed in Europe....)

So in MY OPINION that conference rocked! There are things that I haven't mentioned above for example DC universe because it didn't excite me...everything on that list is what I personally liked. And I didn't mention Killzone2 cuz i think they showed it off after the Sony conference and I haven't seen it...but read some nice things about it.

In my post yesterday on the forums I said how i thought exclusive are important and how nowadays it's better for the company to focus on their first party games as 3rd party exclusives are just very rare. And looking at the list above I'm happy to say that alot of the games I'm exited about are first party(well published by Sony). This shows Sony's commitment in delivering quality games. Of course we don't know if the games are any good until we play them but so far they look great and lets wait and play the games before we make up our minds. I hate hearing ppl say: "OMG 256 players??? should be called LAG" seriously wait for the game to come out and then judge. If it sucks then say what you want...**looks at Haze**

The only negative about Sony's conference was that LACK OF RPGs...seeing as im a huge RPG fan....i was disappointed in this aspect. I would have felt better if they at least showed White Knight or even Vs 13(i dought will stay exclusive). Well at least we're getting RPGs that are multiplat. Its not like we lost FFXIII all together.

There is still TGS in a few months maybe Sony is saving something for then. I'm hoping Uncharted 2, Jak 4 and seeing that its in Japan some JRPGS!!!

Well to conclude it was a good showing overall by Sony. The only games MS showed that I'm interested in are games I already know about which were Gears 2 and Fable 2(These look great). The shock of FFXIII coming to 360 overshadowed the weak showing overall.
