Rofl, trading punches with the GTX 970, a 2-year-old card that was never $500 ... What an utter letdown. Again.

I wouldn't be able to play 13 hours in one day, even if it was just that one day... I think my all time record is around 9 hours.

@Vojtass: Tone down the elitism. I could say the same thing about Paradox games and Dwarf Fortress.

Looks fun. Much too caught up in Warhammer: Total War right now, though.

Okay, this is a buy. Haven't bought a total war game since Shogun 2, gonna be good to get back into it.

@cboye18: Base-building is back in DoW 3, leaning more toward the play-style of the first game than the second. Check out some of the previews, maybe it's the kind of game you're looking for :)

@deviltaz35: In any case, the 980 is a big no-no at this point in time.

@deusvex: Really, the 980 is not a good buy and never was in terms of price / performance. You'd be much better off going for the 1070 as it will perform much better for a similar price. On top of that, the latter comes with 8 GB of GDDR5.

@Mogan: Well. There is Total War, too.
