I just traded a few of my games including my GBA SP for a Nintendo DS. I thought I would liquidate much of my sports games on the PS2, GC, GBA, & X-Box. Plus non-sport games that didn't keep my interest. I thought now would be the best time to do it because we are on a verge of a new Video Game sport season. So I traded these games while they still had good value & I got a Nintendo DS out of it. But I didn't get any DS games yet. Maybe in the fall when Age of Empires & Black & White:Creatures come out. Shogun also looks intriging. There is also Metroid Prime Hunters, Mario Kart, Madden Football, Winning Eleven, Burnout. PSP looks awesome but who can afford to buy a portable machine for that outrageous price. At least the DS price is somewhat affordable used.

I would have liked to get the PS3 first but the price is too high. It is 400 hundred USD plus another 150 USD for the hard drive. Insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.You don't even have any games yet!!!. X-box 360 is 300 USD with hard drive. I am primarily a Sports gamer so 360 should be enough until the PS3 slims down along with its price.

In 2006 & maybe 2007 as well I am looking to build on my GC, X-Box, & PS2 game collection. Finishing out my wish list on these systems. I am going to try to be very selective in the current generation of games.

As for 360 I will get it to play mostly the latest sports games, & Tom Clancy games, & games that impress me. Again I am going to be very selective in the games I purchase. I am not going to get caught up in the hype & run out & buy a game new or used because it got a 10 out of 10. I am going to think is this game for me? Will I get the full value from it? If it is not a sports game will I play it now & a few years from now?

It is time to go save for 360 & wait out games until their prices drop. Will Mario Power Tennis ever drop in price? I have been waiting forever it seems. At least the price for PS2-Splinter Cell Chaos Theory has droped. Off to play Chaos Theory & Madden football. I didn't trade all of my sports games. I would be insane to do that! I am a hard-core sports gamer. Until next time.
