I've come back to GameSpot today, and actually put something into my profile. There is even a game collection now!

Why did I just start using this account now after having it for over a year, you ask?

Here's why:

1) I was on a dial-up connection, but recently upgraded to DSL. As most of you hopefully understand, GameSpot isn't exactly a modem-friendly site.

2) I found GameFAQs first (I joined in 2002), and it was more accommodating toward me. (Mainly because of the simple, graphics-free layout--see #1 above)

3) My friend Andy (OptimusPrime) told me last Friday that he had sent me a friend request a LOOOONG time ago and wanted me to accept it. No, wait...he COMMANDED IT. XD

So here I am, adding to my profile, tracked games, wish list games, now playing games, and games to my collection. Now here's my first journal entry. I think I'll go check out the forums later.
