I doubt anyone has actually bought it but anyway.

Mario Paty 8 announcement

The above game was launched in the UK today. Unfortunately we have discovered that a small number of games contain the wrong version of the disk due to an assembly error. We have therefore decided to recall all copies of the game from UK retailers so that this mistake can be corrected.

We will re-launch Mario Party 8 in the UK as soon as possible and will announce a new launch date shortly. We very much regret any inconvenience caused.

I don't get the hype for this game at all. It seems very similar to loco roco in a gameplay perspective, with a level editor added on. It's hardly ground breaking, I mean elebits had this last year(although i'll admit not as key to the overlying game concept). But it was still a level editor that you could share with others over the internet and the gameplay is heavily physics based, in both titles.

I seriously just don't get whats so great about this game, it certainly will not touch the pedigree and superior gameplay that will be offered by Super Mario Galaxy.

Exactly, it's going to be full of attetntion seeking idiots, just like all these social networking sites. It's quite pathetic how people think this is going to be anything other than a device for the dregs of society to 'socialise' with each other.
