I played through the main story of the first Destiny, some PvP matches and then quit, later on returned for a short bit, because my friend bought the game and wanted to play with me, but that didn't last very long on my part. Regardless of only basically finishing the story and doing just a little bit of extra with the first Destiny (didn't even buy the season pass), I found it rather fun back then, just not as addicting as I was hoping.
Now I decided to buy Destiny 2, and again none of my friends bought this game, so I'm playing solo. I'm about 10 hours in and I'm really enjoying it. It feels a bit more addicting than the first game and you also care about the story more. The soundtrack is very epic and the world feels more lively. Overall so far it's been exactly what you want from a sequel, an improvement in all fronts while keeping the style and "magic" of the first one - if you liked the style and gameplay that is.
@streamline It's more linear, I haven't played Fallout though, but I doubt it's the same. However playing this game in the survival mode - which it's meant to be played as, it kind of requires you to seek out for dead bodies and loot for ammo and filters so you can breathe outside. So there's little exploration, but it's more of storybased game
Okay it seems to me Gamespot is really bashing all the new games very harsh. And for sore I can tell Unity is better than 7/10 as it is like ten times better than AC 3 which was 8.5!? Now look at this, another awesome game getting 7. Then Rogue goes with 6?!
Wow, the criticism this game is receiving. I got this game last week and since then I've not faced one single bug. In fact, the game is beautiful, fun to play. The parkour element this time feels the most real and jumping on rooftops has never been this fun in any AC game before. All in all it really feels like a huge step forward from Ubisoft. The only downside is the small fps drops during co-op missions and huge crowds. But Ubisoft said they're fixing that in the next patch so everyhting should be fine.
I love the Assassin's Creed franchise, but to be honest, based on the videos this does not look like a next-gen game. It looks like a PS3/Xbox 360 game at their top requirements.
Seems like lots of New-Gen games lack a load of everything and all they try to push you is amazing graphics. And here's the result 5/10, same goes for many other games like NHL 15, Madden
