I lol'd at the cows who seemingly have regained there arrogance over for the first time in well over a year the PS3 beat the 360 in sales.

Here are the facts for the fanboys who need an ample dose of reality. Currently the Xbox 360 hold over a 7 million console lead. Even if Sony outsells the 360 by a margin of 2-1 it would take 3 years for them to catch up.

Lets take into account Japan where it outsells the 360 4-1.. I will cut the number of years then by 1 year. Because honestly sales will tap out soon in Japan. If they have not bought a PS3 after MGS4, They simply are not going to buy one this gen. So it will take 2 years for them to catch up to the 360 at that pace having sold solidly in Japan and outselling the 360 in North America and Europe by 2 - 1.

2 YEARS BOYS AND GIRLS. By that time I am sure of two things.

1. Future Gen consoles will near completion considering a 5 - 6 year life span we should expect the newest consoles to arrive in 2010 - 2011 time frame.

2. Any cow who thinks sony will outsell MS for the next 2 years straight with it's line up comming. Has seriously took too many sips from the magic kool-aid.

Seriously every cow who thinks they will catch up this gen is demented or just can't seem to do basic math.

Now as for the Wii.. Both the 360 and PS3 pretty much already lost the console war. The Wii continues to sell and now third party developers are taking it seriously, mean while MS and Sony will plan the next gen consoles around what the Wii did this gen. Controller and Interface innovations, hopefully with a cheaper price tag then this gen.

Now Flame on I have fire resistance +100 on. But anyone who does the math easily sees the truth.

It is quite simple math.. If the PS3 does not sell well this year.. Next year more games will head to the 360 where the install base is LARGE.. Developers are in this to make money.. Make no mistake about that one.. SALES COUNT..

If I make a game that costs me 1 million to make I better make twice that in profit.. If the install base is not large enough to recover the costs of making it.... Guess what? I will be developing games on the system that does have the install base and the 360 has it right now.

If I am a gamer and I can play all the MS exclusives plus all the Sony used to be exclusives but are either Multiplatform or now MS exclusive.. Guess which system I am buying..

It is all simple math...Sony is hurting and it has no AAA games to help it sell consoles and get out of the hole.. Not haveing a AAA game this Xmas is probably the last nail in the coffin. It will be a mediocre system with the big games that end up on the 360.. GTA4 and DMC4 are just the start .. More and more are going to the 360!!
