A movie doesn't have to be realistic to be good. I never said that, as some are implying. However, it's annoying when a movie likes this makes a pathetic attempt at being realistic/accurate and people claim that it is when it's not.

You want a good depiction of what deployment is like for U.S. military members, watch Generation Kill. That's the closest thing out there.

The only military members who've been deployed who are going to take HL seriously are people that never went outside the wire.
