In my opinion, the “games list” aspect of your website has taken a serious step backward. On the old site, I could search for games and make a list of the ones I wanted. I could easily order my lists, like a spreadsheet, in alphabetical order, or according to release date, Gamespot rating, my rating, etc. Now, there is only a picture of the game cover and an order that makes no sense at all. I could arrange the order myself, but with so few options, the editing tool is too cumbersome to bother with. Also, there used to be easy links to reviews of the games on my list. Now, I hesitate to click on any link, for fear of being thrust into megabyte-sucking, animated-banner advertisement hell. Before, I was willing to pay for an upgraded, streamlined membership, but that is no longer an option. Gamespot’s reviews are still top notch, but with the way the site is currently, I will likely have to find a new site to organize my lists, (which means less time spent on Gamespot, being exposed to your sponsors).

In my opinion, the best bands (or songs) are the ones that have staying power. Some music makes such an impression on people that they want to continue listening to it year after year. Some bands produce music that appeals to many subsequent generations. Staying power is a quality that is lacking in a lot of modern music. That is why I think so many people turn to older music to get their fix.

Indeed. I've only ever regretted watching any of those shows. If you took every episode of each ghost hunting show and compiled footage of actual evidence of supernatural phenomena they'd accumulated, the length would be approximately 0 seconds.

Games will probably become more polarized in the future: either as a multiplayer game, or a campaign game. For a multiplayer-driven game, the campaign is more of a formality. Hence, the shorter play times. Fine by me. I say make either an amazing multiplayer without all the glitches, or an amazing campaign with all the whistles and bells. I'll even pay (almost) full price for both if they're good enough. That would be better than having a mediocre version of both, which is what we seem to be getting now.

The bragging rights are worth it in some cases. But personally, I would rather spend my time playing a new game rahter than hacking away at some of the more tedious achievments.

I wouldn't say it doesn't take any skill. It's about 25% skill and 75% connection speed.

[QUOTE="NlKO"]Personally, I think K/D is the most meaningful statistic. Plain and simple: If you are less than 1, you are harming your team; and if you are greater than 1,you are helping.chasingmaynard

Not true for every game.

Indeed, not necessarily true for some objective-based games.
