Thank you for the music!

My first experience of Sing Star was on Thursday afternoon of last week, when Guy, very beautifully, performed his own rendition of Sir Mix-a-lots "Baby's got back"... He was reviewing the latest of Sing Star games, Sing Star 90's. Having never seen this actually being played before - i was quickly hooked. Well - hooked as in making Guy sing every song for my own cheap entertainment. Iv never touched karaoke in my life - nor did i ever plan to.

So imagine my joy when i was invited for a girls night in on Saturday for an evening of Guitar Hero, Dance Mat - and Sing Star.

Picture this... 12 girls, 5 jugs of Woo-woo, 5 jugs of Mojito & a fridge full of Rose. Throw in a couple of Mic's and SingStar 80's and there you have the perfect concoction for a fantastic night in! Out of those 12 girls, about 5 of us - myself included - were quite stubborn about the fact that we hated kareoke, and we weren't going to play. No matter what. No way Pedro.

By the end of the night we wouldn't give the microphone back to anyone - we made all our own music videos thanks to the eye toy and were reverted to childhood days of putting on a show for the "grown ups".

I know whats on my birthday list now :D

not buzzing for buzz!

sooo its finally been opened and played. First time with a group of my girlfriends and second time just me and mike. What both times have in common, isnt that my boyfriend is a bit of a girl (although he is) but that we all got bored and that was within a couple of minutes of playing.

There are some new games in there and a few new jokes and some kind of weird robot dancing by Buzz, but its borrring. Plus the on screen text was so small that we were having to sitabout a foot from the tv just to read it.

Over all im disappointed! I am going to buy a bike this weekend to get me out the house and away from the games that are consuming me at the moment!!!

I want it now!

I have just bought Buzz The Mega Quiz, for my boyfriends birthday. (Nothing to do with me wanting it at all)

Only, his birthday is not for another whole week, and the game is begining to burn a hole in the bottom drawer of my wardrobe... is it so wrong of me to open it and play before i wrap it up!!?

On another note i have had no time to continue by Guitar Hero II adventure... I am in training for a 5km run for Race for Life - I know 5km may not sound a lot but consider the fact that the furthest i have ever run before is just to pick up the telephone! Once it is over i will be back on that guitar with a vengeance!!

Not sure i like it so hard!

So, I have been off work sick all week -  layed up on the settee all day everyday. So... what better way to use my time? Guitar Hero II of course. My plan was to whizz my way through the whole of guitar hero's medium level before my man got home from work! (I have actually gone 90% of the way through medium twice before but my memory card kept corrupting - I am wondering whether my boyfriend corrupted it on purpose as he was losing)

Now I am on the hard level... I long for the days of Easy! Hard is too damned hard.

It is really about time that I started to play another game!

woop woop!

I want to start my first Blog post with AT LAST!!! I got my first 100% on guitar hero II last night - allbeit on a medium level but still!

After my disappointing performance last week infront of Guy and Raj i am incredibly proud  :p

Thats all i have to say! And im proud!
