This is like any other circle on here. Some people love OoT, some don't. I liked it but I see it as far from being the best game ever made. It's all in someone's opinion. If we go strictly by gamerankings, then It will stay at the top and that is what everyone will go by. If we go by personal opinions and new gamers coming along, OoT will be nothing but a distant memory. And...........someone on here claims that Zelda isn't casual? Please, it is one of the big Nintendo franchizes that you can ask anyone about and they will know what you are talking about. Of course it is casual. You don't have to be some hardcore genius to play the game.
I can see MGS4 getting a 10 out of 10 at most of the sites since it just seems to be the icing on the cake and supposedly the big game that all the great MGS games have been leading up to. Previews have been great, from what I have seen it looks to be delivering on that end from gameplay previews. I don't see RE5 getting it since I think it will be more like RE4 but with nicer graphics. But wait isn't that MGS4? I think they changed teh gameplay around a lot more in MGS4 than RE5. Still to early to tell on that one, but I don't see that for RE5 yet. Any other games......nope, I can't see any right now console wise.
Sounds a bit low to me after playing this game for a bit, but I guess I can accept that the general population would enjoy this game if they played it, but still not one of the best games ever. I guess being a fan of a series just makes you biased. Oh well, I'm happy with it, can't wait to get into it more and see how things unfold.
Sony wins either way since Blu-Ray is there little money maker and they get a piece of the pie from every disc that is sold as a game or a movie. Fun times eh.
Spin off game, sure, but KH3 scheduled for a Winter 2008 release..........doubtful. It took over 2 years for KH 2 to finally get developed. KH3 will be on the PS3, the combat system will already be ready since FFXIII Versus is coming out for the system. But I wouldn't be surprised to see a KH spin off game on the Wii.
I won't be able to try out the demoes until I get home from work this afternoon, but I will be able to compare the 360 vs PS3 versions. I think I am going to get the PS3 version but I might just change my mind later tonight.
I can proudly say FF back on the NES got me into it. I remember being psyched for a FF3 game back on the SNES, and was surprised that..........characters change in every game. FFVII got me back into video games after a 3 or 4 year hiatus. I just picked up a PS3 and yes, one day will be picking up the FF titles that come out on it. Favorite series of all time for me.
