Not that surprise the demo was awfully mediocre... save £20 and get stranglehold.

As a guitarist I never really understood why someone would mash buttons and pretend to play a guitar when they could for similar prices go out and get an Ibanez starter kit for £100. That or take that estimated $500 and buy your self a Vintage SG and take a picture of it and post it to the CEO of activision.

With this one it all depends on the reviews if it scores an 8.5 or more average I will get it, october brings 2 first day buys for me and Im not willing to spend another £40 unless I get that impulse in game looking at the box covers... :( that feeling has given games like shadowrun at full price.

This will be a great game more or less will end up like stalker the foundation is there but theres something strickingly "hmm" about the experience, I've only played 5 or so minutes of it with the beserker and it felt as though the games world is full of pre arranged ambushes dotted around the place and the rest of it is full of "have I been here before" moments.

Both will be superb must buys for any fan of the genre that has the console but after playing through some levels of uncharted 2 I have to say I dont see this gaming scoreing less than a 9, as for ODST I didn't get a chance to play that but from what I've heard I dont think it'll dissapointed any halo fan but for some reason im rather skeptical about the game that said I dont think it will be a "flop" but more of a 8.0-8.5... all in all I cant wait for either and I will go in open minded as usual.

Im currently putting together PC's at work and am very tempted in setting one up for my self, so far the best performance/price pc I have to together is the following:

- AMD Phenom II X4 955 OC to 3.6GHz with a Sunbeam CCF cooler (27c - 56c)

- Asus 785g EVO motherboard -Corsair Dominator 2x2 DDR3 1600MHz

-2x 500GB Western Digital Cavair Black 32MB Cache (RAID0)

-BFG GTX 285 c: 712 m: 2664

-Coolermaster Storm Scout

-OCZ ModXStream Pro 700w PSU

Currently where selling them for £1150 in store, But if your tech savy then you should be able to get the same setup for £200+ less and go for it it really doesn't flinch with any game I've thrown, even with Crysis(1.2) with 2xAA 1680*1050 averages 35/40FPS.

I would definetely go with AMD's phenom II quad cores at the moment they are a steal and outperform stock I7's for £100 less! also dont bother with the "future proof" mumbo jumbo anyone with a head above their shoulders should know that when it comes to hardware you buy whats best price and performance wise not what the future holds for your chosen socket/motherboard.

Yes theres always new hardware lurking around but you never really need to spend more than 1-1.5K even to run everything out out before it and superb settings, I dont like saying but as a guy that once struggled for cash I have to say it but you can put the rest of that money to better use dont waste it on that extra 10-20FPS especialy if your playing the games all ready at 60FPS which 1500 will let you do.

I'll believe it when I test them out personaly after many years in this industry I have to say it happens every time yet somehow people always fall for the hype of fake tests results im seriously getting tired of this. Endless links to forums and blogs till eventualy it ends up in a rumour section of actaul hardware site... if anyone has knows its them, wait 2-3 months then compare thses benchmarks to the actual benchmarks from reviews.

English is not my first language I appologise.
