If you actually read the article you'll notice that XP had to be hacked to display very high quality. So we have to compare xp-high Quality vs Vista Very High Quality. And vista wins hands down. I don't have any problems with my home made vista gaming rig. I can score 10030 in 3dMark06 with my 8800gts 320mb - I've seen lower scores with gtx's on XP. If you think XP is better than Vista it's because you don't have Vista. Or probably you still play on Windows 2000. Weather you like it or not Vista is the new operating system.

Vista dose look better. 1st Pic Vista's fare trees on the mountain horizon look better. 2nd pic look at Vista's better mountain shading. 3rd Pic fare trees look crisper 4th Pic Vista was better clouds and water. 5th Pic shows again better far objects, better shading, better water, and better clouds. 6th Pic Look at how much crisper the Vista boat looks. If you can't see the difference you're not a real gamer.
