I remember Die by the Sword! Wasn't a great game but it's control system was certainly novel at the time. Double Fine aren't under-rated as such. Loads of people love them, just not enough people buy their games! The problem with Square Enix isn't that they're too mainstream (in my opinion). People dislike them because they evolve their games. Fans want the game series they love to stay the same and as soon as something changes (look at the continually different combat systems in Final Fantasy) people have a good old whinge. Of course, these are the same people that complain that Call of Duty is the same every year...

Started playing it today, and when it's lag free it's a lot of fun. When the lag hits, it hits HARD, but when it's smooth it's great when two groups meet at an objective and a big firefight breaks out. People sliding around and hopping over railings, gun turrets popping up and grenades flying. Hopefully the DLC will come along before the current crop of maps bore me.

According to the article at CNN, Microsoft plans on using Skype to support the Xbox and Windows phones. So Skype through Kinect or the other camera looks like it will be coming in the future.DJ_Magneto
Calls through Kinect to a windows mobile a possibility maybe?

Yeah, some people still play it. I picked it up a couple of months ago to play with my fiance and found a good supply of people still playing zombies and vanilla multiplayer.

If anything they will use it for either business chat clients or to improve video to video on xbl.

Video chat across a number of different platforms? Kinect to MSN messenger? Or can you already do that?

I can see it being attached to XBox Live for gold members as a free service. They'll need to find some way for it to turn a profit though. Having said that, I doubt they'd buy something without having sensible plans for it.

They're not the most profitable company, could turn out to be a bit of a waste!

Noticing a few Alpha Protocol mentions on here. I'd forgotten how much I'd enjoyed that game, very disappointed that there won't be a sequel. Same for Jericho for that matter.

Silent Hill 2. Be sure to change the control scheme so you don't have to deal with crappy tank controls.

Certainly my favourite survival horror. I assumed the topic creator was asking for games from this gen that were akin to PS2 ones.

Deadly Premonition. I remember reading a review giving it 2/10 talking about the story being entertaining but everything else letting it down. I decided to overlook shoddy controls and archaic design decisions and picked it up for £15. Utterly adored it.
