The real answer to why Canada doesn't have as much content is Canadian copyright laws. The same thing has happened with iTunes. US has way more movies and shows on iTunes. The companies (Apple and MS) are working on getting more content, but it takes longer to get it in Canada.

The Canadian Content laws don't inhibit XBox Live, as XBox Live isn't a radio or television broadcaster. Unless there has been some specific legal debate over the Canadian Content laws applying to XBox Live that I am utterly unaware of (and there may very well be, as I don't follow such subject matter regularly), there's absolutely no reason why they would somehow influence the content of an online service, which is all that XBox Live is. That being said, unless you have some rebuttal, I would suggest avoiding making empty claims like this. Thank you.

As for the content available to me on XBox Live, I couldn't care less. So long as it reliably connects to the internet so that I can play games online, I'm good to go.
