Burnout Paradise

Just picked up this one on sale in Target. It's been out for a while and it got decent reviews, so I figured it's worth to try. Besides, I didn't play a driving simulation in, literally, years. I guess the last one was Colin McRae Rally on the PC. It barely ran on my comp at the time so I had to play on my friend's one (thanks Grandpa ;)).

Anyhow, played Burnout for a couple of hours and got back into the driving groove. It is interesting concept with the open world thing, I'll see how it works out in the driving game. It seems like a decent driving game, even though I have definitely seen better driving games - hello Need for Speed (yeah, the good old one). I guess this one has a totally different take on the experience I am supposed to have while (playing) driving with all the crashing and stuff being main part of the game.

Anyway, it seems to be a nice let's_kill_some_time type of a game. I guess it's good I didn't pay $60 for it.
