if i switch it off it comes back on all the time, sometimes it takes 30 seconds other times it can be 5mins till it comes back on but with out fail it does come back on the only way i can stop it is by switching it off from the back of the ps3 which i do not like becuase i like to use my psp to swit ch it on from work (remote play).

anyone else got this problem?

Yeah

I once turned it of with greasy fingers(potatoe chips) and it turned it self on again a couple of times.. whiped the grease of and it was ok

I hardly see why it matters. AAA=AAA, no matter the console.

What I meant with that theere was no coparision on 360 to R&C:TOD I meant in that genre. And you are kind of proving my oint. You got you Halo3 at 9.5. Meaning that it´s propably the best game 360 will ever get. whilst the fantastic uncharted only got a 9.. PS3 can still go 2 louder.....

Its short...as that is the only thing they have in common.

over shooting, great visuals, linear gameplay. have you even playd uncharted.. it has more in common with gears than it has with tomb raider..

If GS conciders R&C:TOD a 7.5 and Uncharted 8.0 For PS3??? How great is the first 9.0+ games going to be???

I mean the games mentioned above are side to side with 360 9+ games. So when xbox has gone as high as it can. PS3 still has at least 2.0 points to rise from total awsomenes.

Cause the reviews are based on Console potential, is it not?

Umm, the positive aspects far outweigh the negative. All reviews of Mass Effect acknowledge the technical issues but in the end, they all agree that they do not strip away your enjoyment of the game.

Yes, all games must be brown, gritty, and and grey scaled. I personally think all the gritty and grey scaled games are ugly and they need to stop! Oh and you think Bioshock looks better then Halo? You must be crazy, because Bioshock has only good scenery while the character models are quite ugly. Halo 3 has good environment and good character models, I felt like I was playing in a wax museum during Bioshock... However I loved the atmosphere and the story so I didn't let it get me. Seriously though, if you think Halo 3 is ugly then you must have something wrong with your eyes.spinecaton

Ugly is a bit of an overstatement.. But It´s not in the top 10 game visually this gen.. And Ikind of expected it to be. Cause Halo 1 and 2 were right up there last gen.
