My first Ps3 game ya'll! While I can't get the opening theme song out of my freaking skull, the game itself made me yawn after about 2 solid hours of play time. The gun fights are fun and this one character name Brick cracks me up when he goes into berserk mode. Really the only 2 things I don't like is the game's boring storyline and the repetitiveness of scenery as you are going from one transportation point to the other. Right now I am just fighting the same monsters called Skags and bandits. The skags (espcially in hordes) are so much fun because its really challenging at times but the bandits? One shotgun bullet to the head and they drop like flies. I'm at level 6 with Lilith right now.

I hope this game gets more interesting, but who knows? Its happened before where I hate a game at first and then get to the end and its love (Tales of Vesperia was one such game. Anyway I'll post more updates as I get further into the game.

I honestly never thought this would happen but I am actually going out to buy a PS3 tomorrow! I thought ps3 was kinda stupid for the longest time because pretty much everything worth playing on the PS3 is also on the 360 + the 360's exclusives really enticed me. Exclusives for the PS3 did not seduce me until now. Demon Souls is what did it. Yeah Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 oooo and metal gear solid were games I longed to play but it did not justify the PS3's price tag. Demon Souls however, has me salivating. I am the kind of girl who really loves a challenge (I like to put my all of my games on either the hardest setting or close to the hardest setting just to make the game itself last longer) so when the gamespot's review called Demon Souls one of the toughest and most punishing games this year, I checked my funds and made plans to pick up a PS3 asap. Demon Souls kind of reminds me of Oblivion - but a better version and certainly prettier version of my beloved game. If only I could transfer my dark elf character, Vivienne over to Demon Souls..... ah well. Anyway I am excited beyond comprehension.

Any of you reading this and has played or is playing Demon Souls, is the comparison to Oblivion fairly accurate?
