How is it with having just 1 chipset ??
And also if I left that pair of 512mb and have just 1 chipset of 1gb on the other dual channel or would it be better to just have x4 512mb
I have decided that I'm getting 2gb not 4gb

I really appreciate the responses :)
One more question:
Is it better to have x4 512mb RAM or x2 1gb / x4 1gb or x2 2gb (I am askin for both as I'm not sure if I'll be getting 2 or 4 GB)
So I've been thinking about upgrading my ram from 1GB to 3GB. My MOBO has 4 ram slots and I'm pretty sure it has dual chanelling. I already have two 512mb DDR2 PC2-5300 chipsets plugged in and my question is: if I have a pair of matched 512mb ram is it okay to have another pair of matching 1GB chipsets. I know your not supposed to have e.g. a 1gb and 512mb in one dual channel but I am not sure how it goes in seperate dual channels.
I use:
Windows XP 32bit (SP3)
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-8I915PMD
P.S I have heard that XP SP3 can run with 3GB ram but it also depends on the motherboard. I can't find any info on my motherboard so I would appreciate if someone could tell me if my MOBO is compatible with 3GB
P.S2 On the crucial scan it states that I should not exceed manufacturer supported memory but I don't even know mine. So does anyone know where I can find it (I don't have any manuals etc. so I'm asking if I can find it witihn the system) and is really that important.
Thanks

agreeI'd say Nintendo are taking precautions. From potential health hazards (using common sense ie children eye development is before 6, and sometimes adults get sore eyes after watching a 3D movie), or from potential lawsuits (ie parents blaming 3DS for children's bad eye sight, or causing headaches).
Bottom line is, there is enough research to give a definite answer, but we do have this:
Doctors question Nintendo's warnings
We're probably ok considering we watch 3D movies all the time, and so do kids. Nintendo is just cautious, how many take a break ads do you see in Wii Sports?trugs26
I was interested in picking this up, but kinda changed my mind.............since I never played a GTA title before. To be honest, the whole be a drug dealer/car stealer never really appealed to me....what's so awesome about that , anyway? So, I caught some reviews for the game on DS, and they were almost all really positive, so I started to wonder: is it the game control? the visual graphics? the storyline? So, after having these questions, I actually went into more depth into quite a few of the reviews , and most were like, "There's quite a few control issues, the graphics arent that good, and the storyline could definitely have used more work.....but BEYOND that, the game is FANTASTIC!" And, I'm like, UHhhhhh....? So, what exactly makes this game so appealing? Seriously? Could someone explain it to me? I'm no prude, but I dont need to pretend to be a drug-dealer to get some kicks, if that's what it's all about....RockyBatboa
Well, I enjoyed the game. It is one of my favourite.
What I think about it being so popular is that there is no other game like GTA:CW on the DS, but I'm not sure definately why people like it so much. For me the game was short but some people like sand-box games just for that you can e.g. (in this case) start a riot on the street. This plays a big role in sand-box/open world games. For me it's fun to roam around and do random stuff but some people just finish the game as fast as they can so they can start playing another one. If your one of those people then I don't recommend the game for you as you probasbly won't enjoy it as it is quite short.
So basically this game is for people who like just roaming around the game world doing random stuff.
Yeah it was kinda boring because of those repeated bosses and hunters and I don't think it is worth buying if you don't have WiFi connection which is really good ! I have the game and I finished the Single Player game because then you unlock all the hunters for Multiplayer and WiFi !
[QUOTE="Maledizione"]no offense but you didn't invent the DS so its better to take nintendo's word for it and charge it before gameplay.Just think about it. It doesn't make any sense that playing it out of the box should be bad, energy is energy. It should be just like playing with it, and then playing it again later without charging.

I agree with him :D
I used to be really into this game when I was younger and for some reason I've got interested in it again. Do you think it's weird for someone in their 20s to be playing a pokemon game? Are there any other uses for this DSi that I could use instead of just the game? I know my mom and brother would be like, you still play pokemon, lol. But yea, for some reason I've become interested in it again. So, what are your thoughts on this?KarbonizeMan !! nobody is too old to have a bit of fun !!!
