Ummmm im just wondering.......... does any one actully have faith in the 4th quarter release of this game..... to me it seems to early. wht do u think?
Ok so i'm assuming that by now you've heard of E3 and E4. If not, E4 is an expo of gaming for consumers that is slated for October, while E3 is a expo for gaming market from business point and stand (this one is not open to the public) . My biggest issue that, I think the E4 is to close to Christmas, if this expo is held in october it might be cutting it close ultimately for every one . From a consumer point of view we are left with nothing from i geuss GDC (which is in march) after that we pretty much have to wait till E4 which is October, thats way to far . From a developes Point of view they can give out any big Previews (this includes demos , and walkthrughs , long game coverage trailers). In doing this they might lose their hype for their game. This might make it worse for a company like Sony were to introduce a system like PS4... say if it were to be released in the fall..., so they'd introduce it at e3 in October, bring it back up in march at GDC then keeps consumers dry until the following October were they give you the overwhelming price by and its ready to be released next month. E4 in October? This makes no sense...., why? because by October the game will have alrdy been done. This leaves with a big rush at E4 for developers to PUSH their product, into the consumers hand.
What I do think they should do is Make E3 (the business one, cus remember this one isnt open to the public) in June instead of July. E4 should be held in mid August this way people will know and remember whts coming that fall season, the developers can still hype up their game and its b4 the Tokyo game show expo.
For every one whos saying sony will drop their price of the PS3 by $200 (canadian) EH! WRONG! that would make it cheaper then the Elite version of xbox 360. Less we forget the PS3 has blue ray which is another reason why the drop in price for ps3 wont go over $100 cnd. They will only drope its price from ($699 cnd) to ($599cnd).For the united states look to see a similar pattern with the price alrdy being at $599 us it will drop to $549 or $499 ($499 being the lowest). Other than price new games and other accesories will be introduced or revised.
