Oh man, I feel so bad for you. Especially after all the money you spent on the tv. They really should put a warning on there.

I guess I'm missing something. Aren't 50" plasma's going for under $1000 nowadays? Could have sworn I saw one for $900 on tiger. In any event I'm not one to throw 1k away easily either but since plasma's are going to be phased out soon I imagine they will get cheaper to empty inventories soon.

Sorry for the out of context but I own a 37" plasma and as long as you don't leave a game on the burn in is very temporary. Haven't tried with L4D yet but I did leave RE5 on for a bit and had a lil burn but it went away (own a Vizio if that matters). For the most part nothing in the new digital tv's should leave a burn in. Those really haven't been a problem since the rear projection days.

I would call the manufacturer. Chances are that is a warranty issue.

Well about 2 weeks later I finally got a nice tip from ps3seeker/com/wii and got to my local walmart before 9am where there were at least 5 wii's left.

Now I have hit as a poster has said here.  I can not find another wii remote if my life depended on it. 

We are enjoying the sports/fitness and my son really likes the bowling part.

As for my wife I bought her the wario smooth moves and it has been a blast.

Unfortunately the downloadable content seems still in development as I have seen posters here complain about it.  Anyone have news when they will stabilize this more?

I don't remember trying to get my hands on a nintendo, super nintendo and N64 were ever this hard!

I have read many here with mixed reviews about the wii being worth it over and under being all hype but truth be told I'm growing more and more impatient primarily because it is everything they have said it would be.

My family (wife and son) is looking so forward to adding this gem into our "Family Nights" on fridays.  I sure hope it is bringing many of you and yours together than just maybe dinner.

Kudos Nintendo but enough already....lets get those shipments bumped please.  Looking at games on the shelves I want to purchase is starting to stare back at me with a glare :P
