I was thinking about this the other day. With all the different MMO's and Warcraft for example where people spend all their gaming hours focused on character progression. Wheres the desire to play other games? I personaly played FFXI (MMORPG)almost exclusively for 3+ years. I didnt buy single player games or any other game. Also people downloading games the day after they come out on bittorrent using software cracks hurts pc sales. Downloading games for free this way is extreemly popular also. -Go buy Crysis, dont download it- Funding the developers of these games ensures they will continue to produce them.

PC gaming isnt gona die. All games are made using the PC so its kinda natural for games to be on it also. If anything i see consol gaming leaning torwards PC tendencies. An example of what i mean is what someone posted above. Saying that you keep the same consol for 5 years of outdated graphics. I thinkin the coming yearsconsols are gona give the option of updating hardware like gpu and ram. Consols allready let you surf the web. Logicly upgradablility seems to be the next step. Sounds sorta like a PC.

PC fanbase is just too high. Almost everyone owns a computer.
