Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
So much death. It seems now that I am in high school, teenagers are dropping like flies. It's so sad to see someone you love disappear before you even know it. On my signature, you'll see two names on it. Joseph Ryan Turner "Ryan", who I knew quite well, died on August 19, 2007, and Byron Scott Martin, whom I had never met. Many people from my school knew him very well, and it's really sad to see their heartache. It makes me tear up to think that something like this could happen anytime to on of my friends. I am the type of girl at school who hasa lotof friends, and who is friends with all types of people. So basically, I havea lot of people that I couldlose. Many teen deaths are caused from drunk driving. This is why I refuse to ever drink alcohol, even when I turn 21.Alcohol is killing people by the minute it seems, so I feel I should just stay as far away from it as possible. What really makes me sad about all of this death is that these kids, including myself, haven't had the chance to really live their lives to the fullest of their capabilities. These innocent people haven'texperienced prom, their first true love, graduation from high school, college, marriage, having children of their own, and everything in between. I ask God everyday why he must take us at such a young age, and I still haven't gotten the answer, but when I do, i'll let everyone know it. If anyone has any answers, please comment.
