I was really let down by it.  I don't understand why they killed Micha.  I hated how the fight between Sylar and Peter went down.  I thought it would have just been those two, then all of a sudden Jessica/Nikki hits him with a parking meter?  He stopped four of Chris's bullets just like Neo, and a few episodes ago, stopped Hiro from killing him with his sword while time was stopped, BUT CAN'T STOP HIRO FROM LUNGING AT HIM WITH HIS SWORD?  That's my biggest beef with the ending.  And plus, I guessed I missed something, but why couldn't Peter just fly up in the sky himself?JustPlainLucas

I'd like to think that costs will stay down, but I think it's unavoidable that eventually games are going to costmore than we're used to paying. I remember getting Strider and Phantasy Star II an awfully long time ago, and I believe they sold for $70/80 each, and this is roughly 20 years ago! Of course, they were carts, and component costs more than likely had something to so with that.

Despite the fact that games are on disc nowadays, prices are still likely to rise at some point - just look at movies. For that matter, we should be glad game prices don't rise as often as movies' do...

Hey there, fellow elders of the gaming world!

My name, O_H_G, is short for 'old-head gamer'. I'm 35, married with four kids, and have been gaming since my parents bought themselves an Atari VCS/2600 in 1977, so I'm coming up on 30 years in gaming! Bizarre, especially when I see my KIDS sitting there with a DS or controller in their hands...

In any case, I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone, and maybe getting this Union more acive than it's been, eh? :)

Yeah, it really does tend to be the case with launches, where the software takes a while to get up to speed with where it should be. I've bought several consoles on launch day, or immediately after(same difference), and there are usually one or two solid, well-made titles, and then the level of quality seems to take a nosedive.

Personally, I own 8 Wii games, and have played a total of 9, and I've enjoyed each and every one. Mind you, I don't have hours upon hours with which to game, as I did in the past, so I suppose it could be chalked up to perspective; i.e., if I had more time, I'd have tired of the games already, and therefore be thirsting for more decent titles. So be it. For my money, the Wii has been well worth it - I'm not sure I'd be able to say the same if I'd put my money in Sony's pocket. But again - there's a long road likely to be ahead for the PS3, so the same could be said of its library as well...

While I never joined one of the online dating websites, I did meet my wife online.

What seems like a long time ago(roughly 9yrs.), I was new to the internets, and was looking thru the personal ads on AOL(I know). I saw an ad for a woman who claimed to(and ultimately did) live very near to me. I put her SN in my buddy list, and next time she signed on, I IMed her, and we struck up a good long conversation, as we had a ton in common. Knowing how easy it is to claim that you're something that you're not, I was understandably skeptical, and remained reluctant to meet her.

We IMed and e-mailed back and forth quite a while, before eventually moving to phone calls, where I became pretty certain that this was indeed a woman, and not the proverbial '54 y/o man in a wheelchair' - not that there's anything wrong with that!:P Anyway, we talked on the phone several times, and eventually decided to meet in a neutral location(a mall), as she was as nervous as I was.

Long story short(too late), we've been married since 1999, and have 4 fantastic kids! It's definitely not something I'd recommend for everyone, but meeting online worked for my wife and I, and as a result, our kids.:D
